The Body Of An 80 Year Old

In the first part of this series I talked about how A Freight Train Ran Over My Health.

Recently, I had another physical therapy appointment for my prolapsed organs.

Therapy seems to be going well, as I feel like I am getting stronger.

Or so I thought…

Until the physical therapist told me I moved like her 80 year old patients. She also said that my core is like a “black hole” without any strength. No wonder I take so long to do anything!

Thankfully, she does not think I am hopeless and to prove her support she gave me 3 additional exercises. Of course these are on top of what I am already doing and will take an extra 15 to 30 minutes every day.

I am so thankful for physical therapists who devote their professional lives to those of us who have “girl troubles”.

What do you think?
